Director – Antoinette Mak

Antoinette currently serves as the inaugural Director of Finance and Operations at EntrepreNorth, bringing relational financial and operational leadership to the organization as it embarks on its journey as a newly registered charity. Her career spans senior finance and operations roles across well-respected Canadian organizations, including VP Finance and Operations at Small Change Fund, Interim VP Finance and Administration at Crohn’s and Colitis Canada, and Interim Director of Accounting Operations at The Salvation Army of Canada and Bermuda.
An alumna of the Harvard Kennedy School Women and Power program, Antoinette brings a sophisticated understanding of leadership, equity, and systems change to every role she holds. Throughout her career, she has remained deeply committed to truth and reconciliation, community empowerment, and integrating Indigenous perspectives into strategic decision-making. She also contributes her expertise to several other charitable boards. Her leadership is grounded in inclusivity, respect, and a genuine passion for social impact.

Director - Marija D. Miskovic, MA
Marija D. Miskovic is a goal-oriented professional with over 15 years of international experience in developing and leading impactful initiatives across community, government, and cultural sectors. She holds dual master’s degrees in project management and anthropology, underscoring her comprehensive approach to leadership. Her career, largely dedicated to the non-profit sector, reflects a deep commitment to advancing human rights, empowering youth, promoting social justice and mental health, and building civil society capacity.Marija worked with the Centre for Mindfulness Studies since 2014 and is now working with Reconnect as the Director of their mindfulness programs. She has spearheaded the development and launch of numerous projects that deliver essential mindfulness-based mental health services and training to underserved and at-risk communities across Canada. Her expertise in program design and development, strategic planning, grant writing and stakeholder relations fuels her passion for building collaborative partnerships and delivering mindfulness-based programs to a wide range of audiences.
Marija is also a certified coach specializing in personal and professional development, committed to empowering clients to achieve meaningful change in their lives, supporting their career progression, facilitating goal setting, and enhancing leadership skills.
